Solar Mobilis is a mobile client for the Solar Platform 2.0, learning environment for distance of the Federal University of Ceará (UFC). The application allows monitoring and participation in the forums of the courses and classes which the user is linked. This application is based on the architecture Extended Mobilis (http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpl/articleDetails.jsp?tp=&arnumber=6218012&queryText%3DExtended+Mobilis) proposed by Professor Wellington Wagner F. Sarmento and his research and development team of the Virtual University Institute of UFC.
In addition to the forum application, it is intended to implement this notification functionality the tool (Mobilis Info) AVA and support tool to work done in the field (PocketWork). All these will have the functionality Solar Mobilis interface.
Access to the application is exclusively for users of Solar 2.0 platform, however, a layer of integration for Web services was planned so that it can be integrated with other Virtual Learning Environments.
